We do permit non-park campers & registered campers the opportunity to use our dump station. The cost is $20.00, payable at our office. Please call before you plan to arrive in order to confirm availability. The Dump Station is not open during the off season. Nov 1 thru Apr 15.

All sites are set at a standard occupancy of 2 adults (age 18 & up), with 3 children (ages 17 & under). In lieu of 2 children per site, our policy will permit 2 additional adults (age 18 & up) for a fee of $10.00 per adult, per night. Children under age 5 camp for free!
All tent bookings are made over the phone with a Reservation Specialist. A tent or self-contained camper van / truck are welcome. Overnight camping in a standard automobile is not permitted.
Tents are not permitted on RV sites. A separate reservation for a tent site can be booked by calling our office.
Yes! We are happy to welcome up to 2 well behaved canines per site. The Portsmouth Dog Park is a short walk from our RV Park and provides ample space for running and playing. Do clean up after your pet immediately to help keep the grounds looking fresh and green!
Newport RV Park offers Pull Thru and Back In RV sites. We also offer shaded sites in addition to open air, no obstruction sites for your preferred camping experience.
We are happy to accommodate late check in. Please contact our office to make arrangements and for further details.
Our Camp Office also provides the ability to purchase firewood and other frequently used items. We also offer branded Newport RV Park merchandie.
We are a Five mile drive to Sandy Point Beach and Historic Newport. If you would like more details on what the island has to offer for attractions, entertainment and dining – please check our activities and area information page.
Our site pads are gravel and laser leveled.
Reservations cancellations require 2 weeks’ notice prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Unfortunately, even in cases of emergency, we cannot refund deposits when a cancellation occurs without proper notice.
For reservations cancelled outside of the 2 week timeframe, a 10% processing fee based on the total amount of the booking ($10.00 minimum), will be deducted from the deposit. Any remaining balance will be refunded back to the credit card on file.
If you cancel your reservation within 2 weeks (14 days) of your arrival date, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance of the reservation and the deposit will be forfeited.
Additionally, guests who shorten their stays are liable for charges on cancelled nights.
