Guidelines for Happy Camping
All guests and visitors must register before entering the campground. Fees are $10.00 per adult and $5.00 per child for all visitors. Car passes for visitors must be clearly displayed in the vehicle. Guests are responsible for visitor’s actions.
Check-In time begins at 1:00pm
Check-Out time is 11:00am
Early Check-In or Late Check-Out is not available
Quiet Hours are 11:00pm – 8:00am
is 5MPH throughout the park. This is for everyone’s safety. Motorcycles cannot be driven through the park.
Campfires are only permitted in the fire ring on your site. Fires should be attended to and properly extinguished. Please do not remove the fire pit or picnic table from the location on the site.
We welcome well-behaved pets at Newport RV Park. Pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Clean up after your pet(s) and do not leave your pet(s) unattended at your site. Rabies certificate should be available as an e-document or hard copy. Pet(s) staying more than 30 days must be licensed with the city of Portsmouth. Visitors may not bring pets into the park. Feel free to use the Portsmouth Dog Park right next to our RV Park during your stay!
One vehicle per campsite. Extra vehicles may use designated parking areas. No parking in the road or on the grass. No boat, enclosed trailer, or other storage may be parked on the site.
Critters love litter! Help keep critters away by depositing all trash in the dumpster. Do not place garbage in the small trash barrels throughout the park. Please do not dispose of bulk items in the dumpster.

To ensure a safe, relaxing experience for all guests, please review our campground courtesy guidelines below:
General Campground Rules
- Must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a site.
- Disorderly conduct, profanity, etc will result in eviction.
Children & Safety
- Children must be accompanied by an adult when using the facilities and never left unattended at the campground without supervision. Children must be on their campsite by 10:00pm.
Bicycles & Movement
- Bicycles may not be ridden on the grounds after dark.
Site Care & Cleanliness
- Please do not drain water on the ground.
- Washing dishes in the laundry or in the restrooms is prohibited.
Respect for Others
- Please respect your neighbors and other campers by using established walkways – rather than cutting through a site.
Firewood & Environment
- Cutting, breaking, or removing any tree(s) is forbidden. Protect and conserve our trees!
Vehicles & Washing
- Car or RV washing is not permitted. Sponge bucket washing for seasonal campers is permitted with approval from the office
Prohibited Activities
- No outdoor appliances are permitted.
- All buildings on-site at Newport RV Park are smoke free.
- Fireworks are not permitted anywhere on our property.
- No EV charging at RV sites.
Liability & Campground Policy
- Please protect our grass – do not use the grass on your site for parking, portable structures, etc. This damages our green space making for an untidy appearance.
- Basic WiFi and digital cable are both complimentary services for all guests. Speed and availability are highly dependent on a variety of factors outside of our RV Park employee control. A credit will not be provided for these complimentary services.
- Inclement weather or other outdoor inconveniences are certainly unpleasant, however, should be expected from time to time in the great outdoors. Refunds will not be provided for any experience related to mother nature’s challengs or unpredictability.
